Meet Wombat. This sweet little guy is a German Shepherd x pup who is looking forward to finding his forever home and give out his sweet puppy kisses!
Wombat is currently housed with his brother and sister litter mates and he gets along well with them all. Wombat loves human attention and loves everyone big and small.
He still has so much to learn about the world and life and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family. Wombat will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention. We always recommend puppy classes to give your new member of the family the best start in life and we have included 3 free puppy training lessons in his adoption fee.
Being young he is still growing into his personality, but this little guy is a very loving pup who cant wait to find his forever home.
Wombat's adoption fee is $405 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Wombat is also regularly treated for flea and worms. He is not available to go home immediately as he is yet to have his vet work completed, however we are taking holding deposits to secure his adoption.
wombat is currently not at the facility, and is in foster care with one of our beautiful volunteers. If you are interested in meeting Wombat, please contact the facility on 43044350 to arrange a time to meet.

Our lovely lady Lacey is finally ready for her forever home . Lacey needs a home where she will be appreciated and loved and in return she will give the purest of love and loyalty and show gratitude for belly rubs , good food and a gentle walk each day . She doesn't mind catching a ball either and will drop the ball at your toes every time without fail .
Lacey came to us in a bit of a physical and emotional mess , she has had a complete health overhaul and knowing she is safe and loved has been able to shine and grow in confidence and is now a happy , loyal and loving lass .
Lacey likes to have her people around her or be able to go wherever her humans go , she doesn't like to be left behind and prefers to be a gentle quiet shadow following around the home , never in your way or demanding of attention she just wants to quietly be near you or be . She absolutely loves car rides and travels very well . Lacey is also crate trained to provide security when no one is home , it makes her feel safe and she just curls up and naps . She has a few old dog quirks including putting herself to bed in her crate at exactly 7:30 pm each night , it's adorable !!
She likes her stuffed toys and has a favourite old towel she throws around and rolls on dragging it from room to room.
Lacey would love a home with people that can be with her , older children are ok and cats are fine too. She can be a little fussy with young bouncy high energy dogs but she adores most dogs and still attempts a little play bow . Lacey still has many happy and healthy years ahead of her and after years of neglect , providing many litters and finding herself dumped in a pound at 12 she deserves those wonderful and happy years . To know Lacey is to love her and be loved forever .

Hi there, my name is Houston and I'm not quite ready for adoption yet, however you can foster me until I'm ready to join your family forever!
I'm outgoing and full of personality. I just want to be friends with everyone. I really enjoy being around people, so I would love to spend lots of time inside with you.
I am currently offsite, if you are interested in giving me a forever home please call my friends in the Customer Care Team on 9224 2222 to discuss my special needs and arrange a time for me to meet you.
I don't need a huge amount of grooming, but I'd enjoy a quick brush every few days. I am best suited to a home with older kids.
I may be happy living with a friendly desexed female dog, and I don't mind cats. As long as I am with you, I am happy, so cuddles and walkies together will be fun! Some training will see me grow into a well balanced, social dog that will make you proud.
I am desexed.

My coat is easy to care for. I would like to live with an adult family, as kids can be a bit overwhelming for me.
I need to be the only dog in my new home. I have energy to burn! I am full of potential, I just need a buddy who will put in the hard yards with me.

Please meet Sarg. He is an adorable one and a half year old Mastiff x who is super keen to find his forever home.
Sarg has a beautiful, fun loving nature. He loves attention and to give and receive affection. He is always happy to see his human friends however, he does like to be the king of the castle and would prefer not to share his attention with other dogs. We believe he would be best rehomed as an only dog.
He shows no sign of food aggression or seperation anxiety. He can be slightly wary of loud noises and may want to be inside in a safe place during storms and fireworks.
Sarg loves a walk, and although he can pull slightly in his excitement, he does settle. Sarg is a bundle of energy and will require regular exercise. He does love to play and should be supervised around young children as he sometimes forgets his size and may accidentally knock them over.
As he is still young and eager to please his human friends, we believe he would be easily trainable. To help get Sarg off to the right start, we have included 3 free training lessons in his adoption fee.
Sarg is looking for his forever home where he can be included as part of the family and involved in day to day activities. With his affectionate personality and his love of people, Sarg would make a wonderful addition to any family.
Sarg's adoption fee is $350 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Sarg is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Please meet Oakie. He is a 3 year old Bull Arab x who is so excited to be finding his forever home.
Oakie is a sweetheart, who does his best to please his human friends. He responds extremely well to commands and looks for direction from his human when unsure. He does not have food aggression nor does he suffer from seperation anxiety.
He does get along with other dogs, however he would prefer smaller dogs or calmer large dogs. When tested with other dogs at the facility, he played well with a dog of his size, until the other dog jumped at his head. He then growled, however when reprimanded he immediately sat and looked for direction from the trainer. We would recommend supervision and a proper introduction to any boisterous dogs of his size.
Oakie is very eager to please and is an intelligent young man. In order to help with his continued training, we have included 3 x dog training lessons in his adoption fee.
Oakie loves affection and would be happy to give and receive cuddles and a belly scratch all day! He will require regular exercise and secure fencing. This gorgeous boy would make a wonderful addition to any family.
Oakie's adoption fee is $350 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Oakie is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

LEXI PUPPY - D.O.B 27/02/17
Dear sweet little Lexi has only been with us for a short time. She was a little shy at first but now that she is getting used to being around us she is really coming out from her shell. She is a very happy little girl who loves nothing more than to snuggle. She is almost housetrained with only having a couple of little accidents. She is happy around the grown up greys and the dare I say it the cats. She is currently living with three big greys, cats, a Chihuahua and two teenage children.

Are you looking for a new best mate? Great, so is Oscar the 4 year old Border Collie x. Maybe it's a match?
Oscar is a super sweet boy, who loves to be around people and is always happy to see you.
He is always happy to meet new friends and although he can be a bit of a boisterous player, he does get along well with other dogs. Unfortunately, Oscar does not seem to like to make friends with cats.
Oscar is a playful boy who loves to be out exploring the world and has very nice lead manners.
Due to his breed, he will require regular exercise and would make a great jogging or walking companion.
He can get very excited to see you when you return home and he at times jumps up for a cuddle. This is never done with aggression, just to be affectionate. However, he should be supervised around young children as he may accidentally knock them over.
Oscar is a super affectionate and will shower you with love.
Oscar is looking for his forever home, where he can be included as part of the family and involved in day to day activities. He will thrive in a family that can lead him with positive direction and with his desire to please people, he will make a great addition to any family. Included in his adoption fee are 3 free training lessons.
He would be suited to an active family who can give him the exercise he requires.
Oscar's adoption fee is $350 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Oscar is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
To enquire more or to meet Oscar, please email ccacfadoptions@gmail.com, drop in to the facility or call 02 43044350 and speak to one of our friendly staff.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue
|
2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a registered Australian Charity (ABN: 66 448 752 266) and not-for-profit organisation run solely by volunteers in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
2nd Chance Cat Rescue started in July 2011 rehoming desexed, vaccinated and microchipped kittens to good homes.
We are a small home-based rescue group with just a handful of Foster Carers and Volunteers.
So far we have rehomed 700 cats and kittens. We are proud of our contribution to the welfare of cats in this part of Melbourne - especially as we are more or less just a one person mission with a dedicated team of volunteers.
We aim to not just look after the cats in our care, but to try and educate the community in cat population control. And we love our adopters to stay in touch after they have adopted a cat from us.
If you would like to actively take part in helping out and you live in the City of Casey, please send us an e-mail: 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com
We are always looking for dedicated foster carers.

We hold regular Facebook Auctions to fund our Rescue, hold BBQ's at Bunnings, sell hand-made cards etc
We are Tax deductible so if you would like to make a donation please
E-mail us: 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com
We also have our desexing campaign called "Click 2 Snip" currently available so if you are interested, please contact us on 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com. Remember just one cat can have 250,000 offspring so every cat desexed means many cats saved from a life of hunger and danger on the streets.

\* desexed,
\* micro-chipped,
\* vaccinated and
\* worm and flea treated.

All of our horses are saved from local sale yards and under special circumstances AAR will also consider surrendered horses. Our horses are vet checked, teeth done, vaccinated, wormed, have their feet done and additional needs attended to. An adoption fee is set to recover these basic costs. All of our horses are assessed to establish the type of home that will suit their long term needs, either as a riding or as a companion horse.
Upon entering care all of our animals are well cared for and loved, offering them the best possible opportunity to feel safe and to be able to experience life in a predictable way.
All our animals are assessed in foster care before being put up for adoption, any behavioral or health issues addressed and necessary vet work completed. Whilst in care, our animals are treated like part of the family to show them things they may not have experienced before and to evaluate them in a home environment to ensure they are suitable for rehoming.

To enquire about a cat, dog or horse in foster care please either phone or email the foster carer (using the contact details listed with the animal's description).
The foster carer will ask about you, your family, and any other pets, about your lifestyle and accommodation, and about the type of cat, dog or horse you are looking for, so that they can help work out if the animal you have selected is right for you.
For cats, a meeting is organised and if all goes well and both you and the foster carer are happy with the match, you will be asked to sign an adoption agreement, pay an adoption fee and take the animal home for a two week trial.
For dogs, foster carers will also carry out a 'home check' either at the meeting or thereafter where we look at fencing and shelter for the dog to make sure they are adequate, and advise on anything that needs to be done to make sure your dog will be safe and comfortable. After this is successfully completed, and both you and the foster carer are happy with the match, you will be asked to sign an adoption agreement, pay an adoption fee and take the animal home for a two week trial.
For horses, a meeting is organised and if all goes well and both you and the foster carer are happy with the match, a date for collection of the horse is organised and adoption fee and paperwork completed.

ACT Canberra Pooch Rescue
|
Canberra Pooch Rescue (CPR) is made up of a group of independent rescuers in Canberra and Queanbeyan, Australia, who save dogs from euthanasia.
Our animals are rescued from death row at pounds and shelters, and we focus on rescuing animals that other groups cannot take.
The dogs are fostered in our own homes until we find them new forever homes.
Whilst in our care the dogs are treated as part of the family and we show them new things that they may not have experienced before, like car rides, meeting cats, children and discovering other dogs. We also endeavour to teach them basic manners and toilet training if necessary.
We make sure they are healthy happy animals when they are adopted.

To enquire about a dog in foster care please email the foster carer in the first instance (using the contact details listed with the dog's description).
The foster carer needs to know about you, your family, and any other pets, about your lifestyle and accommodation, and about the type of dog you want, so that they can help work out if the dog you have selected is right for you.
For dogs, foster carers will also carry out a 'home check' where we look at fencing and shelter for the dog to make sure they are adequate, and advise on anything that needs to be done to make sure your dog will be safe and comfortable.
