<i>Application for Confirmation of Water Byelaws</i>

Notice -is hereby given that the Balstead Rural District
Council intend, after one month from -the date of
publication of this notice, to apply to the Minister
of Housing and Local Government for confirmation
of byelaws made by them under section 17 of the
Water Act, 1945, for preventing waste, undue con-
sumption, misuse or contamination of water supplied
by them.
Copies of the said 'byelaws will be kept at the
Office of the Council at Mount Hill, HaJstead, Essex,
and will ibe open to public inspection without pay-
ment on 'any week day during the usual office hours
for the period mentioned above. Copies of the
proposed byelaws will be supplied to any person
interested upon payment of one shilling per copy.
Any objection to the confirmation of the said byelaws
may be made by letter addressed to The Secretary,
Ministry of Housing and Local Government, White-
hall, London S.W.I, within the same period.

gallons of water per day from the Wenlock Beds
of the Silurian System from a Well, Map Reference
SO 120743, adjacent to the Dorthey Brook in the
Parish of Llanbister, Radnorshire.
The water abstracted will be used for providing
a piped water supply for the village of Llanbister
and surrounding area.
