Portsmouth City Council (the Authority) is preparing to outsource its Interaction Service. The aims of the Interaction service are to promote the social inclusion of adults experiencing enduring mental health problems by providing opportunities for participation in sport and other health promoting recreational activities, aiding personal development and supporting individuals to integrate into the wider community.
The Authority is inviting organisations working in the area of Portsmouth in the mental health field to examine the Interaction Service specification that we are currently developing, and to let us know if this is an opportunity that you would be interested in tendering for so that we can better understand the market appetite.
We also recognise the experience and innovation that suppliers can bring to delivering this type of service, and as such the Authority would welcome your feedback in regards to the specification that is being developed. This will help to inform the final service requirements in order that we can work effectively with our partners to deliver a high quality model that meets the needs of this client group in Portsmouth.
Suitably experienced suppliers are invited to register their interest and provide feedback using the questionnaire template. Subject to the response the Authority may wish to engage with you further in an informal discussion, however this is purely for the market consultation exercise and is in no way an indication of the selection of your organisation or a guarantee of future work. Suppliers participating in the market consultation will not have any advantage over suppliers who do not participate in this process. Similarly suppliers not participating in the market consultation will not be disadvantaged.
Following this consultation process the Authority will consider the appropriate route to market and will conduct a full tender. Interested suppliers can access the service draft specification and questionnaire via the Authority's InTend e-sourcing solution.
The deadline for submission of requests for clarification is 20.11.2015 at 16:00 and the deadline for submission of completed questionnaires is 27.11.2015
